Reunions and the Blessing of the Internet

K here -
The Christison clan went to Knoxville, TN for Easter.  Have some photos I'm sure, but I have another story to tell at the moment.
Back last August a friend of mine who's an 8th grade English teacher was lamenting and questioning whether anyone ever remembers their 8th grade English teacher.  I reflected for a few moments or two and found that I most certainly did remember him!  Parker Hardy was his name.
I was talking to my sister about this and she blurted out, "Parker Hardy - an essay is like a woman's skirt - long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep it interesting."  I was thinking of Roscoe and Chloe myself (the names that appeared on the board for many a diagrammed sentence , but yes I remembered that too.
This all got me wondering whatever happened to him.  I googled his name and found a recurring name in Oak Ridge, TN.  Then I googled his name in the image category and lo and behold, here's a picture of my 7th and 8th grade English teacher!
Then I got really brave and wrote one of those "You probably don't remember me, but" emails.  He did!
And to make a not too lengthy story, not too lengthy, we all met my former English teacher at Moe's Southwest Grill in Knoxville this past week.  It was so sweet!  It had been at least 25 years since we'd been in the same place, but it was a very special time of catching up and meeting or looking at photos of our families.
How amazingly cool the Internet is every now and then...
